Default I now want a beam table :)

    hiya all

the weekend just gone i went to a weekender at camber sands pontins in sussex. there was a laser show in each room done by lgfx (toby) and oh my god it was amazing. in the upstairs room he was using a 5 watt laser onto a beam table. the room aslo had a full bounce mirror/deffraction grating package too. on the first nite he took me up the scaffolding to have a look at the beam table and it was stunning. he also shown me these fibre optic lasers iv never seen before. basically the laser gets sent down 2 fibre optic lines to 2 other satalite projectors. dunno how it happens and im guessing the satalite projectors are just a box with scanners in.

anyway i now wanna start looking into beam tables cause this thing was amazing, im wanting to buy/make one and possibley also have 2 of these satalite projectors running on fibre optics. does anyone have any info on this?

    cheers ollie

what is your budget, because I could hook you up beyond your wildest dreams, and if your budget is not so much I could at least allow you to have a wet nap

hahaha a wet nap thats mint

ummmm i have no budget to be honest. this is all in planning. if i was wanting a setup id want exactly what he had cause it was truly stunning. so do u guys know what these fibre optic things are im talking about?

thats the big thing i want. basically what im thinking is if i bought a very high power green i could have 5 or more of these scanner boxes placed around saving me so much money and time. these boxes looked so small too.

any info on these would be great

hehe, no budget is a problem but very common. I have two fiber launchers with 2 100' 200um cables with collimators on each one...if ya want them I am looking for around $1500.00 for the rigs now all you need is light and remotes in stock and ready to ship.

the classic set up is fiber remotes on stage left and right and the beam table center stage...but not everyone would agree, but I did that for years and it always worked for me.

$1500 for the whole kit? I might get back to you on that one, we could really use some fiber for the Spectra. Somehow rigging the whole head up in the roof doesn't sound really... appealing.

What weekender was that, the Soul/Northern soul one?
I'm going to Pontins in Camber sands for a weekender in about a month, Bangface Weekender!

Techno, electronica, breacore, jungle: neo rave!

I really hope they have some decent lasers this time, last year it was like 2x500mW greens...very ravey but not nearly enough!
