Default Question regarding modulation on scanpro20's program board

This might be a stupid question, but here goes; I was just reading in the manual for the ScanPro20's program board, where it says under the tech specs that it has "3 laser Mod output, TTL". Does this mean it won't work with analog modulated lasers? Isn't the connectors for blanking output on the program board wired directly to the blanking pins on the ILDA connector, which in that case it shouldn't matter? Or am I really wrong here?

The modulation outputs are for DMX control, if you plan on using ILDA control you can forget about them.

If its what im thinking about, I asked this directrly a few days ago as I too wish to use it with analog lasers.

Its handy as you can have a projector that can dance along and do its own thing, but also just switch back to full PC/DAC control

I was told and it is my understanding it should be fine for analog use when using the ILDA input on the board as it effectively just pass`s the signals on so analog modulation should work fine.

The manual also mentions 20k scan speed limit for mine at least, I asked about this too and basically using ILDA input it just pass`s all the signals through so there are no limits on anything really.

Someone feel free to correct me if im wrong but that is my understanding.

Using analog lasers on a TTL control signal is perfectly fine, as is using a TTL laser on analog (It won't analog modulate, but it'll still blank)

This makes sense to me. Thanks for your input everyone
