I have tuned a few sets of these in the past... They are not the easiest to tune and you certainly won't get 50k out of them... I tuned mine to 30k....

Best tip is let them warm up running the ILDA test pattern for a good half hour before you adjust anything. If you get them looking good but some lines are wavy, that's probably as far as you will get. I noticed on mine that the mirrors tend to vibrate causing the wavy lines, in the photo the bottom of the four lines under the circle is wavy and nothing I could do would remove those waves...

That's a pretty damn clean looking test pattern.. I'd be happy with those results if I had done the tuning.

I also tuned some LW50, you will never get 50K

When tuning at 30K with the ILDA patern set the angle at max 8 degrees. bigger angles will not work.

Just set 2 turns of low speed damping and turn up the gain, and work your way up.

    Thanks M8's!
Had another couple of hours at them today and managed to get them running at about 5 deg at 30k ish.
Still abit crappy, but think this is due to a replacement galvo from LW. When running some frames I'm getting little "tails" from the projections. Anyone got any ideas? Cant post pics since youngest son trashed the camera

    Cheers
