    Default Halving a 405nm to 202,5nm?

Anyone know how this can be achieved? Crystals? trying to get it down to UV-C

    Thanks

BiBO crystal cut to the angles needed to achieve NCPM at room temperature, but the beam profile would make a pretty poor efficiency (like 1%)

i doubt any crystals are capable of transmiting such shortwave light through. (BiBO crystals are transparent for wavelengts down to cca. 286nm.)
But im not expert in such things, so wait for pro's to say their words

I'd download SNLO and start playing with crystal models.

Then look up the transmission of some that may work.

Real low conversion powers if you do not do something like a bow-tie cavity..

I'd also see what Toptica can do before I reinvented the wheel.

If you can find a window for it, the lower level of the ion laser transition in argon arcs terminates into a transition terminates in to a energetic 170 nm line, this is why the tubes I work on are always trying to rip themselves apart.
