    Default Knife Edging

I keep seeing "knife edging" in the forums. Could someone explain in simple terms what it is?

here si knife edging and combining using a cube all in one.

so if you look at the home made dual red they are bounced at 90degrees next to each other. the objective is to get them as close to each other as possible. knife edging only works with small beams.

knife edging does not involve a cube so there are a few more mw to be had

you can see from the pics that the dual home made reds are knife edged into a cube so they then combine with a 635nm red module.

    Hey Andy,

Is the fan on your 635 sucking hot air off the module or blowing cold air onto it?

    Sorry to hijack the thread.
    Cheers
