    Default divergence = safe?

since the divergence can make a pointer safer, how can one easily increase the divergence and make some kind of spot light, are there any cheap lenses available that do this? thanks.

also what about spliting the beam into two or three parts, is this easy to do. what about a green version of the famous weapon straight out of the predator movies, three points in a small triangle?

or what about a magnifier lense, so the focal point could burn faster

LED museum has used a magnifying glass i think to improve the focal point and burn stuff a bit quicker.

I have the lens from a old red pointer that burned out, At close distances(1mm) it focuses my green laser light to about 1/4 of a mm and burns stuff very fast, but quickly spreads the beam so its like a flash light. This could be usefull for both burning and spreading.
