Need file Geopat.fa3 for Full Auto Geometric correction

Hey Gang,

I installed Full Auto software to run on a show Friday and need to use the Geometric correction on the Full Auto Software.

There is no such file on the program CD or the USB CD install discs.

Anyone happen to have the file Geopat.fa3 file?

As I recall, the one they used for that was the famous 'Laser Media test pattern', which looks like:



..and - ironically, lol - image: courtesy-of the infamous 'djDunceCap's 'flicker' pages, there...

... you could first try and locate this file in the library that got installed (and I'd let them know about this 'installer glitch'...) visually - it might also be called 'Test' or something with the word 'test' in it... certainly 'pretty easy to locate', visually... .. then Load it into a 'new' show, size / adjust scan-speed, etc to your liking / galvos' liking, etc - - then simply SAVE it back-into your library as "Geopat.fa3" - the 'geo corrector' should-then be able to 'find' it (though you might wanna just 'restart' FA, first...)

EDIT: Found, attached (+ the 'LM' pat... ), but still try the suggestion above, just so we can post as a tip for anyone, 'out in the field' sometime, when they don't have access-to PL...

Oh, PS - the "(files).FAX" go in your 'Cache' folder, within the 'FA' folder.. though it should build one, for each-file, when you load them, the first-time.. but just in-case, not, there'ya'r.. )

You made my day. After going to bed I realized I could just find another test and name it as Geopat.fa3.
