Hey Gang - yeah, any advice for how us n00bs can get a gallery? do you have to be on for a certain number of months / get to a certain number of posts?? (cause I already PMd SPEC twice with no reply, soooooo, wasssup??)

Please advise cause I've got some cool stuff to share...

Hey Jon,

PMing spec is the only way to get a gallery. You should also copy Admin on it also. I am unsure which he is checking if any at this time. He has had a few personal issues creep up lately, the forum has basically been on auto drive. For a temp solution, sign up at imageshack or something and just make your own thread with the pictures. When spec gets back to you you'll have it all in one spot to upload into your gallery. Try PMing Admin, which is spec's other account.

Thanks for the helpful tip I was just not sure if I had overlooked some rule for n00bs needing to wait awhile or something, cause I did PM and email both, and had heard nothing for a few days, so was not sure, BUT TODAY, Our Good Cap'n got back to me (which I'll post so other n00bs can benefit:

...The problem right now is that I have been working on finding a new gallery package and converting the entire existing gallery.

A few of the packages were useful but they either failed when it came to converting the existing gallery install or simply did not "tie in" with the vbulletin install here the way they said they did, much less the way I wanted them to.

As soon as I get everything squared away, I will gladly setup an account for you.

I wish I could give you a time frame on this but I simply can't given my recent lack of free time to work on PL....

So there is is...but, like I said to him, 'No worries...More wait just means more time to build and take pics so when Gallery v2's finally ready, there will just be more 'candy to share with the other kids!' - thanx again,
