    Default LST Green Pointer

I got a pointer a little while ago.
Green laser in a black case with a tapered point.

    It works, thats about it.

Upon disection I found the laser diode is a bare diode jamed up agains the vandate with no lenses whatsoever.
the crystals were about 1 mm max in any direction, dont sneeze!

there is a pot to adjust but you have to drill a hole in the case to get at it.
I think it maxes out at 280 ma

The pushbuttom switch is major crap. gets intermittant very soon

    My opinion? POS!

This is not a leadlight or a CNI

    The model no. is LSDT09-13

Reminds me a lot of my ultra-crappy(Tm) Alpec unit.

It was so bad my cat wouldnt even play with it, no joke.

    Hey Mike,
I'll take it for the parts collection if you dont want it anymore...
I could use to crystals from it ...I collect crystal asemblies.

Yeah..I have bought a few of these and needless to say...not well made..
Does require quit a bit of rework to make a decent laser out of it.

Another Bad one is the LightVision 5mW modules ..
Just as hard to mod as the 110 leadlights...and you cant change the diode without a dremel.
To make it a decent laser would require removal of the driver board..throw in trash can..and build a new driver. than maybe, just maybe it would work too.
I bought 2 of them ...didnt waste my time moding them.. think I'll throw them on eBay.
