My little dual Red...How do I wire it up??

I knocked this up over the weekend and now I just want to make sure I have it wired up properly.



First I wired the Lasorbs to the diodes as normal.
I then took the positive lead to + (anode) on diode No1 I then passed it to - (cathode) on diode No2, then passed it to + (anode) diode No2 and then back to - cathode) diode No1.

Is this corect and do I really need 2 lasorbs on a setup like this?

To wire the diodes in series you need to have them insulated electrically. That can be done with that mount, but you need to make sure that the set screw does not penetrate the insulation. For series you should go

driver + diode
to
diode 1 anode

diode 1 cathode
to
diode 2 anode

diode 2 cathode
to
driver - diode
