can i use an old airconditioner or something else that i can find on a scrap yard?

well im not going to try to drag information out of you. If you have a 168 whitelight you certainly know what is required to operate it. I assume your "shop" has three phase power, and if your house (where you poo) is just down the street I assume you can get lots of water hoses long enough to make it to your "shop". You might want to google 6kw water chillers...you will need a minimum of 2 of them, but to be safe you might want to buy 3 of them. or install a source of water in your "shop".and so on......

...ok, enough 'potty-humor'......Here's a 'suggestion':
...was-used with an Am-909 switching-PSU and Coh. I-90 WL-combo - fairly-similar heat-dissipation req's - maybe even a bit more than your 168; certainly, on the 'higher-side' - and provided-that you could maintain ambient room-temp lower than ~75-80˚ (depending on how 'hard' you ran it...) it would run the puppy all-night-long...
... and low-and-behold - it's FS!PM-me if ya wanna discuss it, BUT, first - where are you located? Certainly, if you're out of the US, that might be a 'cost-consideration'..

that is why I asked if he was in Antarctica. Typically you will only get a 15 to 30 degree differential from the ambient air temperature. What will happen is your "bucket temperature" will slowly rise and soon you will exceed the temperature of the cutout interlocks (if applicable) and if there are no temperature cut out interlocks you will soon be generating steam. One could envision a water tower situation where water cascades over a waterfall type arrangement (then re circulates) which would be more effective heat transfer so it is really a water to air transfer...a radiator is a water to metal to air. it is the rise of the circulating water which will be your downfall...(depending on ambient air temperature as stated in first post)
re circulate 13 kw water for long enough and you gots problems, but if you only want to run for 5 minutes at a time then you are golden.![]()

if im not mistaken you are using 4 - 2.2kw water to air heat exchangers you are at 8.8kw. That is marginal unless your ambient air temperature is below 80 and I would prefer 50. It would work, add another 4.4kw rig (i have one for sale too) and you may just have it
as far as that goes you could toss one of them in a bucket of ice...there are a bunch of ways of fixing this "problem". I have tried them all, hooking up to a water source is the easiest.
