Holy crap, where to start. Basically the control electronics operated a much bigger system that is no longer in service. The electronics are used to control this 8 position beamer currently. The electronics still would operate a big system, but it was highly customized and the chance of you reproducing it are slim to none (leaning more towards none). It is best if I answer questions as opposed to try to explain its operation. But what is cool is the "fiber beamer remote" you do NOT have to use a fiber cable, you can shoot ANY laser into the input hole and actuate gm-20 to shoot beams 360 degrees (except where blocked by mechanics). The remote can be put on a tripod or hung with c clamps from a truss or mounted to a table or rail and shoot a laser into it. Hopefully you can study the pics and learn enough. Once you have played with this controller you would probably adapt a controller of your choosing as this one is WAYYYYYY overkill for just controlling a 8 position beam rail. Head and controller and cable. The system operates perfectly. I have very little to no documentation, it is plug and play. If the gm-20 driver fails you should be able to figure it out as you will have 7 other identical circuits to figure it out.
Size of beamer head- 21"L x 9"H x 4"W
Beam input height-3.5" Above base
Signal Input - 25 pin D connector
AC and lighted power switch
8 position bi directional GM-20 Driver Card with gain, offset and dampening pots
Power supply to run gm-20 driver card
Electronics
Ability to control 2 beamers (16 gm-20's)
ability to accept two touch panels
ability to color modulate RGBW (4 gm-20s)
ability to control two shutters (2 gm-20s)
Bottom line is the controller is a gift to get you going with the head until you make something more appropriate for your needs. Any way i just want to post this and get some feed back, looking for a quick sale because I need to paint my house. This is the only one I have and it is sacrificed at $1200.00 for what you see. I would challenge anyone to replicate this for less than that.
