    Lorenzo

Have a look at my setup, that way you can ad later red and blue to turn it into a RGB.

here,s the picture ho i did it. Divide the lower sections in two halfs so you have all the drivers oposite to the gaps from the cables. Keep the powersupplies at the side of the backpanel. hope this helps

I was going to say lay it out so there is enough room to go RGB when you decie to make that change. You will decide to make that change one day.

If your intention is to built a single color projector (green) then... you have all the room you want...

Inside my 1.3W green I placed the laser diode output directly toward the "X" mirror of DT-40 galvos: I haven't used any bounce mirror. Simply and clean.

Anyway, if the case you are forced to use a bounce mirror (a good quality) to reflect 90° the laser ray, you will lose very few milliwatts only (about 1%).

    No problem Lorenzo

    Wow Lorenzo!
At what distance of the wall is the projector located. If it is around the same place from where you took the picture .... WOW !

Look here to see the insides of my RGB, as people said before, you one day will make the the change to RGB, or first RG and then RGB !!!

I believe for the DT40 wides you have to place them all the way to the front, else you need a HUUUUUUUUGE ASS window. So place them almost against the front plate... as close as you can to the window!
So take that extra 1 cm i see on the picture !

Here is the inside of my RGB:

    I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.

yes, the distance of the projector is about where i made the photo... maybe projector / wall not more than 5meters!

i know the problem of the window out... i will set the galvos at 5mm from the window... not less no more ... i think i will not able to open the galvos at all... but the picture you are watchning they are opened 50%!!! it's enought

i noticed a thing... output is very hight! if i will make a little point in the center of the software, the output is this:

Just slightly loosen the pinch bolt on the galvo mount and rotate the galvo in the hole until it lines up where you want it. You could do it in software but I like to get it right mechanically. Some have it a little high anyway, so that they can stand the case on a box or scaffold flat and the beams naturally go a little high over the crowd, rather than having to tilt the case.
Do what works best for you and the sort of shows you're doing.
