Managed to get it down to 100mm x 60mm.. Could probably go a little smaller if I really tried, but not this time....
Pretty cute eh.. Now I just gotta try to squash it in a tiny box

Dave, I like your layout better than mine, yours uses one less mounts than mine. I dont have a green laser could you post the dimensions because I would like to make a mount for one. We could make this the RGV thread. I didnt have any optics or cubes so I used my 45 degree things to simulate cube placement.

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt & selling it in a garage sale.
Both of those look great! I have been planning on doing one also, you guys beat me to it.
Mine is still a ways out. I have to finish another project but I have been collecting parts and will get to it eventually.
I would like to see them fired up!

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.
I thought about the layout a bit, and it occurred to me that the quad red layout would work well with a rgv..
the dimensions of the cni module are just under 12mm in diameter ( fits perfectly in a 12mm sized hole/ clamshell ) and 35mm long.. The case is at positive potential, so it has to be insulated from the base.. Ill post a few pics of it going once I have the drivers tidied up, what I have at the moment was just kludged together to get everything going quickly..

Does anyone know the CNI model number for the baby green?
Am I correct in thinking this is currently considered the smallest/highest powered module currently available?
Now the wait is until somebody replaces the 405 with a 500mW 445 diode, and we're ready to set the record for the smallest RGB ever!
Can we get a measure on compactness of a module/projector? How about 'lumens per cubic inch'?
