I have a few dead resivoirs back in Akron with fill solenoids, cracked off of dead tubes.
So I take it you need a coil...

    That I can do.

i have just read in the 265 manual a warning that it should not be operated with higher supply voltage then 230v line to line

what if you modify the rectifier for half wave single phase and ad smoothing caps
then it should work with 230v phase to neutral

Post #6 in this thread ..."the input line specification is 208 vac 3 phase +/-10% when measured from phase to phase with an earth ground at 50 amps. As long as your voltage is between 187.2 vac and 228.8 vac phase to phase you should be fine, anything else...no comment...."

Just because I recall all this crap from the cobwebs of my skull dosn't mean it isnt correct

No, because the cathode transformer is then wrong. The control electronics are then wrong, The overcurrent trip coil on the very expensive to replace circuit breaker is then wrong. And the three remaining rectifiers can't handle the load by themselves. And the smoothing inductor is now totally too small for the amount of caps.

Just get the proper transformer... Trust me on this.. Your not the first one to come up with that idea... A certain club owner in Ohio tried it. ONCE.

haha but you gotta admit steve when the inductor starts to catch the cardboard between the windings on fire it does get exciting

Sir Tesla - what say you about these lonely 265s? You want me to look into a quote or shall I scrap-yard it? ...And, sorry, but I really don't see the point in spending 45 min extricating a $3.00 C+K keywitch-out, but if ya want an entire supply or an entire gutted one, lemme know...

No 'pressure' but I need to know your definite interest - or not - cause if not, it will just be stripped and scrapped one Sat. afternoon, and that will be that...

...can you send me one reeealy smokin' hot Swedish Blonde (female, please..), in-trade?? KIDDING...

PM-me a 'postal code' or at-least, a city, and I can find out for you...

...and BTW, I will only be asking some rediculously low-price for the 265(s), so even if it ends-up being a couple-hundred $$ or more, I think you'll still come-out 'ahead'...

    ...patiently awaiting PM...
    cheers..
