    He's in the Netherlands.

Has anyone done any reviews on the Easylase II yet?

I know the old Easylase USB wasn't superb (but not as bad as the old iShow boxes), and I'd be willing to subject one of these new boxes to a review.

I'm located pretty close to Laserwinkel so borrowing one for a review isn't such a big problem.

I'd be interested, if the price was right. But considering the Riya basic is only $250 and offers stand-alone SD-card playback, Ethernet connectivity, USB power, plus several cool output features (including blanking shift and true differential signaling), I'd say that the price on these Easylase units would have to be *really* right...

Is the communication protocol with these units open? Is there an API for them like the original Easylase?

Please see manual for all details: www.laserwinkel.nl/bestanden/easylase2.pdf

for the API: "A driver-DLL with open documented API allows to use the board with self-written showsoftware."
