    Default Vintage Plasma Tube

Here's a pic I found in the September, 1967 issue of Laser Focus magazine. Now THAT's a plasma tube!!! Haven't found anything else about it yet. Thought y'all might appreciate it.

I'll second that Jem - thats a wonderful piece of glass - I love the old glass tubes - theres just a certain magic to them. Maybe its cos it reminds me of 50's Sci-fi...dunno
Seeing this one it made me think of Morbius in the Forbidden Planet.
Keep them coming Robert - at least there are two afficianados here

Its well described in a GOV DOC. And its well described in Bell System Technical Journal, looks like a improved LaBuda (spelling?) RCA labs design. Its also referenced in Bridge's work for the Air Force Lab, of which I posses a copy.

wavelength will be 322 or 358 as well as others.
