Congratulations, I think a dedicated laser room should be in order!

Unless that's going to be a nursery, then a whole new world of expense lies in store!

Take my advice Andy, a man needs a shed... Build a shed... A *very* big shed

    Congratulations Buddy ! Woooo Hoooooo

Just think how much you managed to save for the deposit and still have your laser hobby , your also a very enterprising young man i am sure you can use your knowledge and abilities to bring in some profit to continue projects!

The world is not at an end Andy .... try yer best to get the woman involved though ! projects you split profit will likely put a smile on her face

Congrats on the house Andy. My friends and I have all had this same experience: it takes several months to get used to the new mortgage payments, and then it will seem natural and you'll wonder what you did with the extra money. With all that work space, I suspect you'll come back stronger than ever.

Yeah, I just bought a new laser. Softened the blow by taking my wife to Paris for a long weekend. It's do-able, with the help of credit cards.
