Hmmm. I have one of these modules that X-Lasers gave me for my SELEM gift and the beam is over 1.5" at around 20 feet. The module they gave me has obviously been used so maybe it has been messed up and they were just pawning it off on me as a "free gift". Is there a way to tune these things to get better than what I have? The optics all look clear and intact.

Yes, they are probably out of tune. There are several steps to tuning the optics, I'll send you a setup sheet. With tuning you'll be able to get < 1mrad. Congrats on your win
