Hi Doc, I see that the design is almost ok for the dual kit.
Because the single diode kit does not require the elements that are not ready yet, why don't you start selling this version first?

At the risk of being called retarded and stupid, where do the two cylindrical lenses and the aspheric lens get mounted? I can only see one mount at the end, presumably for the aspheric... What about the cylindrical lenses?

Or do those brass mounts only accept a single axiz-module-style lens?

if he is preparing to selling RUNNING LASERS putting light out when you open the shipping carton...that will take time (blah, cdrh, blah blah)...if it is a kit with no diode that is faster An he will just have to wiggle your way out of the grey area but it is no different than the kits I sell....so to speak, in the CDRH eyes...It must be good.... because this is super top sekret NEED TO KNOW basis. My guess is a plan is still being developed on the many variables and price ranges for each product...but then again...I may have a monkey in my butt. (not saying that he has...im just saying I might)

In theory, he doesn't need to do so if running lasers are only shipped *outside* of the US. US customers can still go for the kit if they want the same thing and source the diode somewhere else.

Interest in a single here, mechanics/optics + LASORB only (no Flexmod, I already have a few spares of those). I might need some help from a fellow Dutchie to put it together, since my diodes are somewhat jinxed when I touch them with a soldering iron...

Hi Adam, it's good to see you posting again and hear that things went well! I've posted a few more photos of a finished test unit, hopefully that will clarify things; if not feel free to PM!

these are almost ready to go. The 1/4" square mirrors that came in from Laserman 532 aren't quite clean enough for knife edging so I'm trying to figure out what to do. It's likely that the first kit will be given away in a raffle-style PL fundraiser.

Ahhhh... I didn't recognize the other two mounts forward of the diode blocks. Actually, I didn't even see the second one until I bumped up the contrast on that first picture. But the pictures you posted above make it very clear. Thanks for that!

Beeautiful!! What lenses are those? Are these modules running the Nichia diodes? Or do they come without the LDs?
