    Default Looking into the future...?

Just curious what forum member think of this.

I was thinking of all the technical advances with the hybrid laser projectors and soon the all laser 21W RGB Sony projector.

With the new Sony - and who knows what in the future, I was imagining what the future of laser shows might be. I can imagine that in the future laser show projectors as we know them now might become a thing of the past. My vision was that possibly in the future a stock (or slightly modded) video projector might become the standard for light shows. Just plug the video projector into a computer and either using movie files or something like media player visualizations you have an instant light show.

    Any thoughts?

Teleportation using lasers...oh wait, that's already been done. Yes, the used lasers to teleport micrscopic particles. But the future will allow it to be done with people and animals.

Trouble with teleportation is that its never really you thats teleported. Your particles are scanned and then destroyed one end and then a facsimile is recreated at the other end. So in fact you're really killed and replced by an exact clone with the same memories etc at the other end. Hardly sounds very desirable does it?

    Think I'll stick to flying!
