Mount for knive edging

Due the development i designed a mount esspecially for knive edging. Because the feet is 180 degrees turned around from the original mounts you can do closer knive edging. This way your setup can be smaller. In between the plates there is a rubber gasket to provide pressure for easy adjustment.
I will provide shorter screws to make the back of the mount flat..
The dimensions are:

Heigth : 24mm
Feetlenght :20mm
Mirror surface dimensions (to glue the mirror) 4mm wide 5mm heigh
Screws m2x8 and pointscrews m3x8
beamheight to hit the mirror from bottom in the middle 21 mm

The advantage of this mount that the mirror is on top and doesn,t take room because its not stick out measured from the edge of the mirror.

Price is 15 euro per piece.

The rubber between the plates is only for precise adjustment after positioning you have to tighten the screws to set the posisition of the mirrorplate.

Hey Edison,

When you say knife edging, does that mean you would glue the mirror to one of the surfaces of the triangular post at the top of the mount?

exactly! Of course when knivedging horizontal beams you have to raise the second mount. Vertical kniveedging is done by moving the second just before the first one
