    Default MaXYZmodules Lasers

For those of you who have recieved one or more of our lasers...
This would be a great place to discuss Pro's and Con's of our lil' Babies.

The K-car has been busy working on more Red ones lately and is having some really good results..
    And they will be modulatable..

    They can be seen here:

    Impartial review to follow.

    well mostly impartial, kinda....

Marconi has sent me a green module, had some problems with at first.
Turned out the diode was degraded. But like the profesional he is, Helped me in every way possible to get it working.
Im sure everyone knows what it is like to troubleshoot a computer over the phone??
well due to his decades of knowlege he was able to tell me exactly what i needed to know to solve and fix the problem.

The module needs no special peltier or fans or other method of cooling.
He utilizes a special method of temp control in normal enviromental conditions requires no critical care. (Trade secret)

As long as unarthorized fingers are kept out of the module, long life should be expected, as the diode is not run in the stressed part of the current capability.

Marconi, and yes K_car, (no credit should be missed on her part)
Spend much time testing and refining the Lasers they make so I would encourage any who have bought lasers from them to give honest and detailed feedback.

These lasers are a unique design and in being simple should be quite durable. (as any laser can be) I expect as they expand the colors and power ranges there should be a laser for any hobbyist and (potentially) commercial need.

(Hey marc, was that good? ok, so what kind of kickback, err bribe, i mean gift ya have for me? )
    KIDDING!

dont want anyone " disappointed " ever again if we can do something about it...
So, happy you like the MaXYZmodule...
Please feel free to torture it some....put it thru the hoops..

    Hi All,

Just a quick note to let you guys know who have any of our RED modules...

When cleaning the lens , Please use caution...
First , Try compressed air (canned air is fine)
and / or clean with Q-tip only, and use a lite brushing stroke..
Only a few times is needed..Do not twist if at all possible.
For the stubburn dirt...use any suitable lens cleaner like you would use for eye-glasses works great..warm distilled water works too..
    Do not use any solvents..

Also, as a side note /...
We would like to thank all those who have put their trust in us and bought
    one of our modules...

Marconi and Kcar are amazing. Their products live up to their reputation also.

    For Ex: http://photonlexicon.com/gallery/Spe...SC00322?full=1

Seriously, Its just phenomenal. Im seriously tempted to dump the money for a 633nM 100mW unit. that would be amazing.
