Guess-so.... Question: Do you guys know of ANY 'laser tube reprocessors', down-under, there? Say, I wanted to get that tube 're-pumped' to a WL (and yes, I could send an optics-set down...)
is there anyone down there that can do it, or would it have to come all the way out here (which, might actually be 'easier' / cheaper than going up to Eurolandia... -

I'm thinking of this possibly as a 'back-up' laser for a Client we've got down there (will be shipping an ion-based system to them in August...)... ya know, we should 'talk', too, cause I'd love to be able to 'tap' you guys for Tech-suppt / service-call, if need be.... a bit far for me to swim...

you might wanna talk to diagnostic technical services in sydney. They do eximer lasers and have a laser lab. I have talked to them about argons before.

The tube is a cut down alc909 that was designed to be a drop in replacment for a oem 88 tube..

2 sets of scanpro 30's with gm734's for colour selection and shutter

I should add the power supply is in a state that works, but it could use some TLC in the form of a current display ( we just plug a multimeter in to it atm ) and a bit of tidying up/ re boxing into a smaller box..

I might be interested in this unit could you tell me is it still putting out 3.5w?
and is 3.5w split between each head eg 1.75w per head?

It does about 3.5w at 25A tube current.. Its optics probably need a clean, so it may even do closer to 4w with a good cleaning..

the 3.5w can go to either head as cyan, or we have DMX controlled color selection to allow either head to be blue or green ( with the opposite head the other color )
