    Default Small RGY build

I had spare components around the place so I decided to build a couple of small RGY units.

    Metalwork cut and folded

    PSUs and drivers mounted

    150mW 532 and 400mW 650, both laserwave units

Full power gives a lovely orange

Just the interlock, keyswitch and safety to install, laser apperture to cut out then I'll assemble number 2

I like the luminosity balance between the 2 lasers Doc. Often red looks very dim compared to green but your power ratio of 2.5:1 seems to achieve a good level of comparative brightness. Nice build!

Hi, the scanners are DT25, I don't think they are available any more, but the single amp is a space saver.

But look at all the spare space! You could have gone half the size!

Hmmm, almost exactly the amount of space needed to install the couple of 473s that I haven't decided what to do with yet

EDIT: they still only measure just over 12" square.

I'm building two identical units Carl, just as a couple of sideshow wingmen

geez, that's a cool little rgy

How long does it take to get to the point of having extra lasers/scanners/optics "just lying around" to build a complete projector? Why am I already dreaming of two green wingmen to go with my first projector, which hasn't even been built yet?

Why is this forum so addicting? Anyone got a cool trade for a mint JBL PRX soundsystem, heck, even my car is up for the right trade! j/k.
