    @ Dan: I am more than happy with these diodes and plenty happy with the performance in the scanner

    The lense is unknown and came with a heap of cylinder lenses, various mirrors and mounts as a job lot from ebay last year. Set up on a tilted angle and a re focus of the colimators has nicely ovalled the spot, not perfect but better than my reds.

    I installed the module this afternoon and scanned some sh*t and all I can say is wow!

    My previously software castrated green is maxed out and is blown away by this blue, funny thing is the white balance is fantastic - arctic whiter than white.

    Here's a short video, the brightness of this blue has really suprised me, it overloads the camera a tad in places.

    1W CNI green doing 1100mW and 2 x 800mW Laserwave 650 reds doing 950mW each.

    The green was turned down in software, it is now flat out and seems like the weakest link.
