    Default maXYZmodules 130mW red module

    Hi All,

Since we have had so much luck with the NEW diodes it has been decided to let a few of the 130mW units go... :P

These are new and tested for 2 hours to verify operation ..

They still have TTL modulation but the voltage required to clamp to threshold is a bit higher...about +5.5volts,all this means is this will require an outboard voltage translator..

If you do not need this (blanking) feature..Please disregard..The module will run as normal

Basically a simple ciruit using an opto-isolator using the same power source and a few resistors..Very, very simple..We can provide it ..if needed..

We have ran out of room inside the unit to include it...
It is the same add-on we suggest for all the maXYZmodules products to use with Lasershow software.

We are working on a new driver board that uses Surface Mount components
this will give us the room inside for the extra parts...

This is the true color of the beam...

Each one will be measured and set to at least 130mW output

    Get them while you can
    The price is:
    310.00USD plus 15.00USD shipping in USA/Canada
310.00USD plus 30.00USD shipping outside of USA
If paying by PayPal plus add 3 percent ..Otherwise Postal or International money orders only

    Thank You .. Marconi *^_^* and The_kcar

Sorry HS-1 Optic Table Mount (shown in the pictures) is NOT included

Hello,, We can not forget about all those who have bought the 80's and 100's too...

    We DO allow trade-ins...
If your unit has not been opened or tampered with in any way
and still looks as good as the day we sent it to you.,
    And working of course...
We will allow it as trade plus (100.00USD plus shipping)
for a NEW 130mW red module.

    Hows that...

i may or may not be purchasing one and i will or will not inform you because i am still deciding wether to buy blue, green, red or non at all and thus i will still consider wether or not to do so. the end.

    Hey Turtle....

Believe it or not, I was able to keep up with that!

Okies...I'll keep either my eyes or Marconi's up here...ttys

    Hey Kcar

I am really impressed with your ability to understand Turlespeake.

The 130 mw look really good, and I can testify to all that the 110mw I have is a great unit. I left it on for 2 days and the current varried by less than 1 ma.

I will hang on to the 110 I have, and you can put me down for the first 200mw when it arrives. I like the look of the new lettering on the laser too, nice.

    Regards

Funny , You should mention 200mW...

How about 250 mW of 660nm RED sound...
I just recieved some new diodes to test from an un-named source..

These diodes are supposed to be nicer than the previous ones.
I hope they have cleaned-up the problem with the window-covers on them.

Cause I have spent more money on Lenses and prisms this month than
I did for my most expensive guitar..and still had that damn line..

Well, I'm off to mount one of these diodes...

Let you all know how it performs

Well, I have had three people asking a few questions regarding the stability..

It is very stable..altho I have not checked them for Holography use yet.
These were meant for use as lasershow devices..

It does produce the same thin lines with this lens set-up..
I have tried many other types and found only one doublet set had
made a difference but only cut them down in half..not worth the effort so far.

Also, regarding the TTL drive requirements for blanking.
I purposely set the toggle voltage at about 5 to 5.5volts
as this seemed to work the best with my interface for my Alphalite pro system..
    Your requirements may be different...

    I would suggest ...

Using a 4n33 darlington opto-isolator as an input device
all you would need is a 330 ohm input resistor and a 1k ohm pull-up
resistor to the supply voltage on the output ,..
maybe put a 5k pot on the input to control the amount of blanking needed.
This is what our green modules have...
If you want analog modulation the use of a different opto would do it...

I am designing a new driver board using surfacemount components to be used in the next series of modules.
This will give us the room inside to add these neat goodies.

Default What do they want with me (paranoid...paranoid...)

Made a recent sale on FleaBay...to a Taiwanese laser manufacturer/holographer company... lilbit unnerving -- I Googled it, checking their site...and wonder to myself, "Gee, what do they want with a lil' unit like mine?"

Any comments? Feel free to submit

Sokay...I've got them sealed, par usuale...if they crack it open, they'll find all numbers wiped off, aswell...what? You think I want to pass around anything of relative value? Nuh!

They want more, they can either go about the research we've been going through, or they can order up and request more hand-worked models from Marconi and me.

Hey - just 'cos the world's out to get me, doesn't mean I'm paranoid :P
That's my $0.02 take on it.

    Hey K_Car

Have you sent it yet ?

Why not pack out any loose space with some dried red herring.

If they are trying to reverse engineer it they will probably have it sent away for analysis, it would be great if the report came back as "red herring".

 lol  ... I needed that!

Nah, didn't read the red until I had already done shipped it...good one, though!!

Still playing with the 250's...stay tuned...

(I keep wanting to crank it up further but keep getting harsh looks from Marconi )

    ohwell *shrug*
