Default A lot of stuff in a little bag...

    Yes, 10lbs of .... in a 5lb bag.

I'm really suprised I managed to squeeze four PSU's in there (5v, 12v, two 24v). I think I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Wait, I haven't even started wiring yet...nevermind.

    Thoughts? Comments? Anything I'm overlooking?

    P.S. - Labsnacks!!

    Nice.

That main PSU lower left looks like an XP Power brand SMPSU. We use them in our products, very very good and high quality, they look good as well lol.

ACK. You gotta love their alodined metal work and heatsink. The just shout quality.

We use a ton of their 48V model, I have not seen a dud or a failure to date. That is saying something. We also use MeanWell supplies, and while they Mean Well, the quality is pretty average compared to XP.

Lookin good! Unfortunately, as soon as you start wiring it, it ends up looking bad pretty quick

Not if you do it right...

    But you could...

    Without proper planning.

The second picture would give me an anxiety attack.

I'd love to watch someone try to sort through that. Ha

A combination of both of those pictures reminds me of Battersea telephone exchange in London...

When they disconnected a customer they would leave the wires connecting the line side with the switch side hanging in the frame - much easier than to try and extricate it! New connections, including those reusing previously connected terminations required a new pair of wires to be inserted through the tangle of the frame. They would push a little tube through the cable mass and then throw a copper pair through the tube, thus allowing the wire to be be run through the frame from switch side to line side. Eye protection was mandatory given the chances of being struck by flying wire! I've got some pictures somewhere.

Sweet, one small thing; it might be better to relocate the scanner amps to the free space at the front as they will be a fairly big heat generator?

Then you could introduce some space between the PSUs to improve air flow.
