Sweet! We'll get into series resistors soon.

No Problem. The real credit is due to Pat for the initial idea though. I would have never guessed that they would be this popular. After working on it, I do feel that they will make for a nice, clean install.

HA! yeah, fortunately I enjoy soldering but sometimes it cam be a nuisance, especially when dealing with the tiny pins of LD's.

    Hey Jon!
In the words of the good Dr. Strangelove,,, "Sank you sir"

Hopefully these will work perfectly for your app.

Okay guys,,, after playing with this board for about 4 hours more, I came up with this as a final design....

If anyone has any comments or suggestions, now would be the time.

I'll start a list tomorrow for peoples requests and features required as well as supply a paypal address to start collecting

As for the series resistors, I'm thinking 1W metal film with the option of .56, 1.00, 1.50 and 2.00 ohm with 5% tolerance. Each board will come with one of your choice, installed or not. What do you all think of this value range? Anybody have any comments or suggestions on which would be best for a particular application? I'm personally going with .56 ohm resistors for my dual 445 setup and I currently use 2 ohm resistors on my dual red, though, 1 ohm would probably be fine.
