    Is this a one-off thing or will you have a mini stock pool for a bit?

    It's a series resistor for balancing the diode current if you run 2 or more LD's in parallel from one driver. What's nice is the resistor is optional. You can just throw a jumper in there if you don't need or want the series resistance.

    Hmm... go on. I'll have the resistor fitted please. I'll probably end up running 2 from 1 driver soon anyway.

    Is it any detriment to running with the resistor with a single diode on a single driver?

    Hey Dan,
    Not really, the resistor will draw a little extra current from your driver but not that much.
