    Default fiber projector head questions

    Hi all,
Got a couple of questions about a projector head I recently got for a bargain.
I bought a used fiber projector head with Eye-Magic EMS4000 galvo's inside. and the EMA1200 galvo board.

What are the specs of these galvo's ? cambridge like, or lower quality ?
What power supply do these galvo's need ? (and where can i get one of those )
Where can i get a fiber optic part for beam input (only got the output pair of lenses on the projector head)

    Thanks,
    Mouzer

Apparently it is very common for those type of Galvo's to have corroded magnets in them. I have a set here, with boards & wiring, which have both done this very thing.

Do your galvo shafts move freely? If not then they may well be cerfuffed

I think they are around 12k scanrate and VERY overpriced when new!
    Not upto Cambridge quality IMHO.

Mine are moving freely untill the end stop off course ^^ So i think they are ok.
I've found the website for these type of galvo's but there's no scanspeed reported there.
    http://www.eyemagic.gr/laser-scanners.html
And i cant test them because i have no power supply :-(

EMS4000s don't have endstops. True story.

That's very interesting. The ones I've seen (though not used) just went round and round and round.
