    I´m trying to build a quad, and in the future combine it with another one.. my goal is to do beam effects...

    How do you keep these diodes cool? For how long you have been able to run it without overheating?

    Metal. Lots of metal.

    It gets up to 50 deg C in about twenty minutes at 100% duty cycle; I am planning to put some big TECs underneath it.

    What sort of beam diameter do you have from the aperture out to, say, 1 meter?

    Thinking that this arrangement might work well in a beam-rail application I'm working on, if I can get the beam to fit on the tiny-ass mirrors mounted on the GM-20's... (For sure it would be better than firing up the I-90...)

    You're not going to like this. It's about 8mm.

    i think 8mm is nice enough althgouh there might be some los on the GM20´s mirrors.
