I'm not that old either, but I have to admit that I really dig some of the music from the big band era.

Here's a more modern re-mix of the Glenn Miller classic, if the original makes you feel too much like a grandfather. (Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers) Still mostly 50's hits, but it's a hell of a track to dance to if you like to jitterbug.

There's good music from just about every decade (and yes, I even include the 70's in that statement). You just need to look for it.

HeHe... How to take over a thread eh?... Trance to Glenn Miller in one nice mix

To be honest I love all types of music from heavy rock to opera to trance to electronic and much more besides. I guess it comes from being a DJ back in the seventies and early eighties.

According to the SKIDDLE web site - First State, Jason Fubar & Owen Smith are playing. Not sure which one but I'm told one of them is touring with Tiesto at the moment. The gig it's self is called Infuzed @ The Nines club.

I will be taking the video camera so I should have some video for you to have a look at.
I'm really looking forward to these gigs.

First State are amazing - unless they are playing a heavy trance set they play quite similar tracks to those in my set. Quite melodic and often quite vocal.

Sounds like a good night. Lots of people slate trance music but it's very much alive.
