Default Possible Group Buy for Safety Glasses 445nm $40

One of my suppliers is offering reduced price on 20 pairs of safety glasses

Price would be $40 by paypal , and include fees and deivery worldwide

They say these specifications be will sufficient for protection
Protection wavelength: 190-540nm, ( of course , it is protect against 445nm laser light)
    O.D 4+,
    VLT>60%

OD = " optical density", represent protection . The Number more larger, the protection effection more better. For example, OD4 for 445nm laser, MEANS: the laser safety glasses only allowed 1/10000 of 445nm light transmit through the laser safety glasses.

I'm terribly sorry if you take this in the wrong way lasermad. But the forum is a place to share info correct?

I just bought 2 pair of glasses just like these on eBay. New from manufacture in china. One of them cost me 0.99usd and the other from another seller for 8.00usd.

Although these might be of better quality in some way but I have tested one pair and they totally blocks out my green 532 and blue 445.

Lasermad: Are they certified goggles? Based on the picture they are not film based, correct me, if I am wrong?

I would be theoretically interested in ~OD:4 goggles...who are they manufactured by and most importantly any certification?

I have certified goggles from noir lasershields, argon filter at OD4+ (170~520nm), and they easily cost 5 times that price

and they are among the most accessible goggles out there... I mean professional, certified goggles (they provide absorption spectrum for the whole range specified)
