    Damn Andy,

    Nice work !
    Looks great, excellent job!
That milling machine was a good move ;-)
    I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.

Yup, that one was almost done !
But as i am fighting to get my second green finished, there was no time to continue.
    Will fix it however.

Then i need to finish of the 2 blue Edison modules and then... then finally the red !

Also looking forward to Edison's quad design, very space efficient.

But first the green needs to be assembled , tested and adjusted.
Then i need to cut 7 holes for my Matilda boards (grrrrr a CNC machine would be so nice ;-) because i need those before thursday, for the show i a m doing on friday night.

Damn. I hate working under pressure, no time for anything else, just work, eat, do lasers, sleep and then the cycle continues. All day at work i am looking forward to be behind my drillpress and soldering iron again.
    I didn't fail !

ok so as most know ive had a few len stability issues which ive been working through.

im 100% sure that the black plastic holding the lens caused the problem and im also 90% sure the actual aixiz diode holder is part of the problem.

i brought some bare 7020h lens from roithner and some aixiz lens holders. i made a test rig where the diode and lens mounted directly into the alum block. i had no stability issues whatsoever.

just changed the normal roithner lens out of my quad red and replaced them with the brass lens holder from aixiz.

although a lot better still a few stabilitiy issues. hense why i think the aixiz diode holders could also be part of the problem, so i wont be using them in the future

but heres the beam at 18 metres with all 4 beams overlapped -

Good work, thanks for the update.

I just mounted some 7020 lenses in brass housings too and about to try a 12 diode module.

Do you think your continued stability issues could have anything to do with how the aixiz are mounted in your isolating compound?

Great work andy!!! What is the distance between the lenses of the telescope? I know how to calculate the ratio of a telescope but i dont know how to calculate the working distance. If you could help me out here that would be great.
