heres my take on a slightly different quad red setup.

once complete i hope to get 1watt from it of 660nm.

got a very nice beam as you can see from the below 3mm high by 1mm wide.
so once the other two beams are in the final beam will be 3mm high by 2mm wide @ 1mR

the beams are polarized in one direction so i could add another using a cube for 2watts of 660 with a beam of 3mm by 3mm

well its finished, just a shame i had to build it from scrap metal.

am now gona put this in my projector see how it looks like 500mw of 532nm and 500mw 445nm

the beam at apeture is 2mm wide by 3mm high

the final beam is a bit shitty as the mirror are full of finger prints, but as you can see the dot if about 1.5cm high @ 16-18 metres

    ok parts used

im using 7020h lens from roithner in the aixiz housings. these lens give a better dot at distance than a standard aixiz lens.

im using the mirrors from the sleds on the mirror mounts

the telescopics are baised around the NT47-348 with a NT47-911 from edmund optics.

the nt47-911 is 25mm in diameter and has a FL of -25mm
the NT47-348 is 25mm in diameter and has a FL of 75mm

so what ever diameter you pick you need to make sure your as close to the -25mm and 75mm as possible.

so as an example you could go with a 12mm nt47-906 as they do one with a FL of -24mm

if you need anymore info chris let me know.

    Looking good andy.

whats the focal length of the used.

With a small Fl there is no real need for a telescope with a quad.
