Thread: Sell: Trichros

  1. #1

    Default Sell: Trichros

Dichros are for bitches. Wait. No, I was right.

If you have made it this far, congrats.

Up for sale are some Trichros. Ive got a few of these.

Units being offered for sale look like this: Smudge in the top right corner is a fingerprint. Ran out of methanol to clean it. Sorry.

Bascally they can be used for this:

RGB In White out, or conversely White in RGB out. Or any combonation there in.

Heres a picture of the unit with RG in. Vary the intensity of green and you can get neat shades of yellow and orange if you ramp the green gain to about 1:1.5

I know your thinking that Im crazy for offering these at $5,000,000USD Each.

    Your right.

$50Ea plus 3% paypal and shipping for Photonlexicon members. My discresion as to what exactly a "Member" is.

No, if you sign up today and make a single "HI!" post, your not a member.

    Thanks, see ya.

Your trichro works very well, thanks! Here's some pictures of my home made adjustable mount, if this can inspire somebody...

I'm sorry but I don't think I can make one again, I made it at my work but not in my department, and it takes a lot of time so I have to make that "discreetly" without drawing the attention of the boss (it's not permitted to do that at work normally...)

The trichro is great, spec!.. Thanks alot.. I do wish that the outside was AR coated though. I'm going to talk to someone at lenscrafters and see if I can get them to coat it..

    SBK:
thats okay.. I'm going to machine one tomorrow, at my friends shop.

Once marconi's 170mw gets here, I'll really put this thing through it's paces. I'm going to grab some red/green dichros from an old intelligent light at work, and mount them to some solenoids I have laying around, and try to make a color picker. RED/GREEN/GOLD..
i wonder if I could use those g124's I have on a self to modulate the dirchros for a more analog color mixing effect.. I guess I'll try it..
