    Default GB - LPC-815 open can red diodes

    im ordering some LPC-815 open can red diodes, just wondered if anyone else wants any?

    $3.5 per sled thats £2.30 per sled.

    i run all my open cans diodes at 250mw each and they are still going strong.

    How about some links to previous projects you have used these for so people ... including me :-) can see the potential .... theres another thread of group buy for red diodes ... they are 50 times ? more expensive , are they 50 times brighter , your buying in a pile , what you planning to do with em :-) .... aaahhhh haaaaa ... whats Andy upto ! Whats the difference between an open can and a closed can ?

    first test are not very promising with the 500mW diodes, so dont cheer to fast.

    mccarrott - i suspect the diodes in the 815 sleds are the same as that auction just not brand new as such. for the cost ill stick with the 815 sled to be honest. plus with a sled you get a mirror with like 99.9% reflective

    $3.5 is so fooking cheap its unreal.

    last gb i did on these diodes they were $5 each

    what do you mean. first test are not very promising with the 500mW diodes, so dont cheer to fast.
    from what i read they are better than the 445's , so what not good about them ??

    i think i would like to have ago at one of those too,to much spare time at the mo and nothing to do
