LP12 galvo pots config?

Hi,

I tried to tune my scanners, which are LP12 from Laserpic. I followed Buffo's Tutorial, but when I was "down the stairs" not the pot which was marked gain in the manual let the Quadrature image collapse, but the pot marked High Frequency Damping.
There are no marks on the board itself, only in the manual. On the board you can only read X-Y-size where the manual mentions Gain.

I think, but I am not sure, that the pots marked as High Frequency Damping are actually Gain, the pots marked Gain are Low Frequency Damping and the pots marked Low Frequency Damping are High Frequency. I can not be sure about this and as I don't want to mess up my galvo's, I figured it safer to ask first.
