I just bought a BLUE440-455 nm laser diode has been extracted from a brand new Casio XJ-A140 New off E-bay for 73.00. They show it lasing. I think it's a good buy. They are rated @ at least 1 watt.

Oh well will have to continue to use diodes from the 48 I have removed from projectors myself.
