Default CNI High Power Laser Pricelist.

I made an inquiry to CNI about a couple of high power air cooled units I was interested in, and I thought I share it with the rest of you, to see what everybody thinks. I'm more then likely going to go with a greenie, but I could move a couple of other ways. Anyways here are the prices.

    > RGB-635 500mw 10K Analog modulation
    R: USD5000.00
    >
    > MGL-H 500mw 10K Analog modulation
    R: USD1800.00
    >
    > MGL-H 1000mw 10K Analog modulation
    R:USD3000.00
    >
    > MBL-H 250mw 10K Analog modulation
    R: USD3300.00.
4% roaylities patent licence added on above basis .

    > MRL-H 500mw 10K Analog modulation
    R:671nm, USD2000.00

Has anyone here order from these guys?. They are telling me about 1-3 weeks lead time before shipping. Are there any risk with getting one of these into the country?. Will CNI take care of any required paperwork?

Best thing to do is ask for their accession number first then verify that with the CDRH. Thats the easist way to find out.

With all the crazy shit these days I dont want to risk it.

CNI offers assension numbers on most of their products, it costs a slight bit more and some of their newest stuff isn't available with them as the paperwork takes a little bit...

They all have accession numbers except for 635nm Red, so if I wanted the RGB Laser I would have to get RGB-671 since they have an accession number for 671nm.

    Hi All

I am still waiting/shouting for CNI to sort out a 6 month old order. Be careful, they seem to be easily side tracked. I ordered several 808nm pointers(400mw), the devices they shipped had a massive beam divergence because the laser source they used had a very large apature. I have diodes here that can do the same, I wanted a beam. CNI agreed and sent me 1 x 1064 unit, then refused to answer any futher emails....

I know some people have been very happy with their purchases, but if its not completely "satandard" I would be careful.

    Regards

    Gold

So the RGB-635 doesn't have assension yet? Sigh. That's the one I
drool after daily... I'm in patience mode for a little bit... <$3k and it's mine,
though I suspect that at <$3k, I'll have to claw my way though throngs
of laserists who want it too.

Did you see the beam divergeance and size for the RGB-635? <5mrad and <6mm! Isn't it too much?!
    Look here http://www.cnilaser.com/_private/ep_rbg.htm

    That is quite strange... 6mm@5mrad...

The only difference between the units is the 635 emitter.

That doesnt make any sense as 635 would be a diode emitter and subject to far smaller divergence than 671nM as a DPSS fiber launched rail.

Maybe the specs are reversed not to mention relative brightness issues...

Yep, quite strange. By comparing the 671nm system which has 3mm@1,5mm, normally if a laser has a bigger dot size, the divergeance can be adjusted to a smaller value not?

About the power, they don't tell us the power for each source, it would be interesting to know that, but I suppose like
    635 / 532 / 473 = 180 / 140 / 180mW
    or
    671 / 532 / 473 = 280 / 100 / 120mW
    for a great color balance...

    I got the price for the RGB-671 : $4500.

I'm wondering if you would need a PCAOM for this unit?

If it has 3 seperate Blanking Inputs, can you use these instead of the PCAOM for color selection and blanking?..
