Default 48V 32.5A Coherent Avia Power supply

I have a big Coherent power supply that was a test unit for the Coherent Avia series lasers. Basically it has 2 RS232 controlled Vicor PFC Mini power supplies inside that put out 48V at 31.25A each. The power supply is very nice with a full current measuring system inside.

I don't know if anyone is interested in this. Let me know if you are and I will post some pictures.

I'm sorry, I'm not a native speaker, what your mean of "not in the coherent case though?"

He means that he got it from a junk dealer who had to remove all of the company logos before they could sell it so it is just the electronics without a case.

Do you have the manual for it? Does it require eeproms in the head to power up like all of the other avia supplies?

No Peter, that actually is not what I meant. I used the case for another project and have the power supplies sitting here.

The supplies do not require any eeproms to power up. Simply give them AC and you are good to go.

Wait, are you only selling the PFC-mini's?

They are not computer controlled, and need a significant amount of support circuitry to run laser diodes (the current control board in my Avia is about 12" by 18")
