    I'd personally say the pictures are the same fake pictures as many other auctions, as they show a cyan which is a bit too visual for violet diodes, but I might be wrong

    would be a nice base for a 445nm diode though, as the internals could be useable (but it might not be worth it, I don't know)

    I'm actually talking with Jason from BlackLasers.com through email. You might want to email him and ask about one with a 445nm laser instead of the 405nm.

    You can buy that same laser direct from Spacelas for $400 USD.

    I have one of these that I purchased directly from a Chinese seller. I paid $400.00USD. It is a decent unit for the money. You are getting what your paying for as with everything in life. When you get it you can expect to have to take it apart and reassemble it properly. They put no effort into laser alignment. It is a $400 projector. I would feel bad if I had paid any more than $500.00 shipped.
