    Default Dichros - reflect 532, pass 445 ?

As the subject line suggests, are dichros available that will reflect green, pass 445 blue?
My projectors are VERY tight already but I might just squeeze a single 445 on the end of the line next to my green, but I'd need a ref grn/pass blue to achieve this.

    Question

Aren't most reflect blue dichros for 473nm going to work for 445nm? My Edmunds does it fine.

Yep, but I want to pass blue...

Here is the (tight) layout in my RGY's, not too much room to play with, and not much option to rejig things, but I reckon I can get a 445 on the right hand side firing straight down to the galvos if I can get the dichros to do it.

Combine this with a flexmod and your LD then replace the green bounce mirror and it's mount with a reflect green pass blue dichro + mount. Would be tight, but it could work!

Funnily enough thats exacly what I'm planning, ordered the flexmods yesterday, and am going to order Aixiz housings and mounts shortly.
I could probably get away with those big 3 axis mounts but if space was tight, I could go for some mini mounts for the dichros. Going to get the parts here so I can offer it all up before ordering replacement mounts and dichros I think.

I have to say I was fairly resigned to the fact I would need to recase (and remortgage!) in order to go RGB on even one of my projectors, but it looks like I'll be able to do both! I do think I'm pretty much right out of space then though, apart from maybe a scanfail board on the left underside of the lid perhaps.

    Great minds think alike, eh?

Just watch you don't pack *too* much into it - may restrict airflow a little much. It's a very nice build all the same, I'm impressed with how tight it is! Will be good to see RGB from it in such a small size.

To be honest I didn't even think they'd be RGY until I realised I could mount the red driver on the lid, then it all sort of came together nicely, but more by luck than judgement.

Airflow is actually pretty good, on one of them the base plate is perforated just where the front of the lasers are, so the single filtered fan positively pressurizes the case and air passes forwards, past the lasers and down the holes and out of exhaust vents on the base.

Just need to consider power supplies now, one of the scansets has a 12v output I can use for the flexmod, the other is 24v so I'll need a regulator in there somewhere for that projector. If I go with a TEC I'll also need to think about where that'll sit and how it'll be powered.

Here's a pic of the 'space' with the lid down (although a bigger 650 red in there at the time), all very snug!

More then enough room to fit a 445nm AR coated high quality collimator + mount

Reflect green pass blue dichro cost about 20, the one I have on stock is already mounted on a mini mount. send me a pm if you need any equipment.
