What lenses are you using if you don't mind me asking? Some beam specs would be good to know too.
    Hey Tony,
The lenses are Aixiz 405nm coated glass. Too early to know the beam specs. I'm aiming for the best I can get though.

Again, too early to tell but I'm aiming for a little over 3W so roughly 750mW per diode. I like to go conservative but hell,,, 3 WATTS!

Hmm, maybe the question I'd be interested in having answered is more with regards to what are each diode is pumping out versus what you get combined and thus establish the loss (particularly in the context of you using the 405nm PBS).

boo.. that sucker should put out 4W after losses without breaking a sweat if the PBS is not horrible

I ran my o-like module @ 1.2W for like 40 hours with just a little 5v 40mm fan on top of it, didnt break a sweat

Well, my customer can turn it up if he wants to. I prefer conservative numbers.

ah, ya I guess if its for someone else, better be safe than sorry...

but I would still like to see 3~4W of 445 scanning

Ha! How about 10W! I am considering an 8 banger for the hell of it but I need to move a couple thousand projects out of the way first. We'll see.

what lenses are you using? I bought a set of the dual modules to make some 2W 445 modules and have no idea what to buy to put the diodes in

    Thumbs up

    Hi Adam

    WOW!
I like your Quad very much.
    And I'm playing with mW.
I need more Power (and money)

    Cheers,
    Eduardo
PS I think I'm gone need some of those diode interfaces. Look very neat and pro.

    Hi Adam,

Nice build, when i watch the video at around 0:22 and 0:30 it seems that the diode left below corner shines against the mirror instead of past it ?
Is that trickery of the eye or does it shine past the mirror ?
For the rest, nice power. What lenses you use ? You don't mention in the partslist, i am curious !

Keep up the good work and pop them balloonz ;-)
    I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.
