I managed to finish a housing for my 445 to be installed in my scanner. I milled it from 6061 with a cavity to hold the FlexMod and Lasorb when I get one in. I wanted to mount the driver on a circuit board with terminals to make it easy to hook up. Using what parts I had on hand. I milled the board and soldered the driver on and minus a few changes I'm fairly happy with it. The next one I'll make the board a bit shorter to give more room for the diode pins, plus I'll look around for some smaller terminals. I think I'll go with a wider trace as well. The FlexMod was set at 230/650 and I'm not sure if a .02 trace is big enough. There's plenty of room to expand. I milled a cavity underneath for a TEC but I don't think I need it. I let the laser run for 35 mins and the housing wasn't even warm. Now I need to mill a base mount plate that will raise it up about 1/2" to hook up center with the dichro.
I'll save that for another day

I just noticed the pic of the CB on the cnc was the wrong one, can you see the error?
