there are scanners... the leftmost turret on each mobo is a scanner head from the SC-DMX kit... dmx controlled oscillators for the scanheads (GSI GM-20's in this case)

i was thinking you were going to tell me to use the two optics in the periscope that drops in to redirect the beam into the fiber... unfortunately i think i only have one of those prisms... gonna have to try and find another

hah, I know the one you mean, but that-ones 'throw' would be too-great for this mod (MG > ML-10...) these two prisms are pretty-darn close, as-is, IIRC... Oh, yeah, forgot:

Really, you can use any two right-anglers, but those, due to the size, work out just- about right, (again, IIRC...)

Why-not PM 'LaserZone'? he was your 'LS Pimp', right? If he is 'dry', I am sure there are several other PL'ers, that have modded those that can hook you up... I have several, but they're in the NY shop and I won't be there for awhile... Heck, Kevin (Junktronics) should prolly have at least one of those prizzies kickin-around...

Of course, you can certainly use what you made with the MM1s, but after a couple gigs, (especially 'fog-heavy') you'll notice considerably yukky-ier output, due to dust / fog on those 'naked' mirrors... with a prism-peri, you can even 'relocate' the MG-colli to butt-to the prism input-face, and on the output, butt-to the ML in-port, and be 'nearly' sealed...

    Just an idea, FWIW....
