    Default Mobolazer ML-10 build

So I got me some Mobolazer ML10-250's

    and some lasers

a Melles Griot 532nm DPSS doing about ~2.3W and a Lambda Pro 532nm DPSS doing about ~1.8W

    mmm

the lambda pro had a lower beam height so with the assistance of a few washers and a rubber o-ring and it was quite happy in its new home

the melles unfortunately has a much higher beam-height so I used 2 MM1's to steer the beam down

    finally a family shot

Lightbulb If you ever decide to sell...

    Hey Fle...

Like the title suggests, I'd be interested.... mostly, in the ML-10s... I've got one, right now, to 'follow thru' on buying from a fellow-PL'er (waiting on 'AP's), but if, ever, down the road, you decide to sell... PM-me...

    peace...
    j

PS - PM-me your email addy, I can send you a pic of a really nice 'periscope' design you can make from 2 spare LS-deck prisms (depending on your model...) that will be less of a pain to keep kleen than that MM-1-peri, and is pretty 'lossless'... ... you'll likey...

these things are awesome aren't they?

I'll let you know but I doubt they are going anywhere, ordering another transit case for the second one (the one from junktronix came with that nice transit case its sitting on top of that was custom made for the ML-10)

If I see one pop up on ebay again I will give you a heads up too

Yeah, I like 'em for 'touring' gigs, cause they actually work pretty-well (especially with the 'pro' turret-modules, there...) - certainly 'good-enough' for most concert-work, and if anything 'happens' (stolen / smashed, etc) on a tour, you're not as 'heart- (and wallet) broken' as if it were a 5x-as-expensive 'pro table', like a Lasermedia LM-8 or 10, etc...

Cool, thanks... I've got a lock on one, for-now...just gotta get the bux-in to get it here... ...but yeah, please-do 'KIT'...

PS - how is your 'other' projector comin? (the RGB with all the sexy Newport tableware...) With these (and that RGB) you'll have quite the nice 'kit'... SR / SL Table-greens, and a Center Full-Color = classic 'Winning Combo'...

I am STILL waiting on my 642nm laserwave laser... its been almost a year

then I saved up $7000~ (which is a lot of f'ing money for me) for a 2W 457nm CNI laser, my bank was giving me a hard time doing an international bank transfer so I asked a "trusted" friend of mine to do the transfer for me... long story short thats the last time I ever saw my $7k or my "friend"

it seems my RGB is cursed

WOW. That's horrible!... and to-think - you've got, like, all kinds of M-16's and stuff, right? Apparently your 'friend' never heard the term 'going postal'? sheesh... sorry for ya, dude... Zero hope of 'recovery'?

    NOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Damn dude, that would have broken me. I once had a thief break into my house and steal $1200 in cash (was a down payment for a car I was buying the next day - pure coincidence), and *that* was a hell of a loss for me. Losing 7 grand is unthinkable. I'd probably jump off a bridge...
