    Default WTB: Combine 642/660nm Dichro

    anyone have one of these from the group buy?

    I would really like to get one before SELEM

    Sorry, can't sell you one as it's being used in my projector .

    However, just a 'heads up' that you *really* need to be super accurate when aligning the dichro. Half a degree or so in either direction is enough to introduce huge losses. Hit the 'sweet spot' though and everything's hunky dory.

    I reckon there must be quite a few of these knocking about that never made it into projectors. However, I have to say that I think the combination of 642/660 is stunning and certainly adds something to the colour gamut.

    yep I have read the horror stories, but I've got a lot of 660 and 642 that are begging to be combined before SELEM... someone must have one of these kicking around?

    Don;t most people do it with a PBS?

    thats great if your combining two single diodes... my 642 and my 660 are already cross-polarized so PBS wont work

    I've got two leads... lets see...

    if not I am going to have to suck it up and order one from Semrock (ouch!)
