and you will need a correction board for it ask around, I know drlava had made a run.
theres a tutorial somewhere here on the site that explains it all.

you dont need any special software, if you capture the ADAT shows and then turn it into a multi-channel FLAC file you can just play it back with any music playback software that supports multi-channel FLAC... at least thats how I do it
yes, LC-ADAT as was mentioned, but also as mentioned, you can only convert a few minutes before running out of memory for more frames... so it does not really work very effectively

One, use something like ILD SOS to resample, 44khz is very dense.
Two, having a slave card doubles the memory, just rig a DX switch between the two ILDA cards. I know its 1500# more, but it opens you up to two head shows.
Three, ask me how I've solved my 8 track tape/adat problems by the end of net week, I have a ton of show materials on tape and more coming in.

not a really elegant or inexpensive solution
I also have tons of shows on ADAT, I copied all of them to an ADAT HD-24, then took the HD out and put it in an external USB enclosure... used a utility to pull the WAV files out of the projects... then cut up the 8 WAV files at each song using audacity (its free, free is the magic number)... then I used LC-ADAT to import each song one at a time... problem is a 45 min show is pretty huge, leading to long load times between songs...
again, if your just looking to playback shows you captured off of an ADAT tape a sound card is going to be 100x more convenient and simple to use than a Pangolin system... i used to capture ADAT shows with LC-ADAT, then I got a soundcard dac and havent used LC-ADAT since
not that I would trade my pangolin system for anything else, but for simple playback, it just works... plus its USB so you can use it off a laptop or netbook which is nice... and its just playing back audio so it does not require a lot of horsepower from the pc
